Pay: $1,700 to $1,800 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Position Overview Providence Saint Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a 13-week travel assignment. This position supports a busy Level II Trauma surgical department with a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neuro spine, vascular, plastics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, and general surgery. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical scrub experience, excellent sterile technique, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operating room environment. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures Scrub and assist during surgical cases across multiple specialties Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques throughout procedures Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently Assist with room turnover and instrument processing Support surgeons and nursing staff during procedures Float to SPD and Endoscopy departments as needed Requirements Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience First-time travelers accepted with 2 years experience CST or NCCT certification required BLS certification required Active California license required Strong trauma and OR experience preferred Benefits (LSI21425)
