Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality standards. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels and manage ordering processes to minimize waste. Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling. Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Foster a positive work environment through team management and leadership initiatives. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures. SkillsProven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Experience in staff training, development, and performance evaluation. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen management practices. Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while minimizing costs. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team building and motivation. Previous experience in fine dining, casual dining, quick service & fast food restaurants is advantageous. Knowledge of culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred. Experience with catering services or banquet management is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
