We are a family oriented, well-established organization seeking an experienced Cashier to join our rapidly growing team!Convenience Store Cashiers are experts in creating positive guest experiences through service, providing insights, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store.Full and part time openings available. Must be able to work various shifts.Key responsibilities:Greet guests with a smile as they enter the location.Collect and process cash, credit and digital payments using the store point of sale system. Assist guests with questions or price discrepancies.Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, connecting with each and every customer.Use suggestive selling techniques to boost store sales and increase guest satisfaction.Ensure accurate transactions and accurate sales at the end of the shift.Follow all state and federal regulations for gas, alcohol, and tobacco sales.Assist customers in locating products, resolving concerns or providing other information.Act with integrity and honesty, promoting the culture and values of our company.Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety policies.Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Promote teamwork and ethics.Maintain a clean and polished appearance and appropriate uniform attire.Perform other duties as assigned.Required knowledge, skills and abilities:Excellent customer service skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers or scanners.Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds.Able to learn company's products, services, and policies quickly.Honest, respectful, trustworthy and loyal.Able to lift 25 pounds and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.Prolonged periods of standing required.Benefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offLife insuranceEmployee discount
