Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job DescriptionWork Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2:30amJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working on packaging lines, preferably in a cGMP environmentExperience with equipment packaging equipment (labelers, rotary and in-line filler, in-line cappers, jet printers, cartoner's, bundlers, sleevers, heat tunnels and case sealers)Ensure alignment with maintenance manager's expectations, proactively prevent issues, and contribute to ongoing enhancements and efficienciesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic machinist experience using lathe and mill is a plusAble to work with minimal supervisionMust have own toolsMust be able to work any shift and overtime as neededMust be able to lift up to 50lbsPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:General maintenance duties such as replacing valves and pumps, motors, gear reducersDisassembly and assembly of electric motors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsRepair machinery and conveyor beltsBasic electrical knowledgeMaintains technical and professional knowledgePerform miscellaneous duties as required for plant maintenance#HP1Company DescriptionPL Developments is an over-the-counter pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging company, headquartered in New York.
