Java Application Support Analyst

Role: Application Support Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH Role Description: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business and technical requirements. This role requires strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and support. Required Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with application frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React). Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). Experience with RESTful API design and integration. Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with software testing and debugging. Proficiency with support tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira). Nice-to-have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with mobile application development.
