Position Type:Non-Certified Student Support Services/ParaprofessionalDate Posted:3/5/2026Location:Hazel Park High School(High-Needs School)Date Available:08/25/2025District:Hazel Park SchoolsOffice ParaprofessionalSpecificsTen-month position when students are in attendance.Office Support Position: Monday - Friday, not to exceed 35 hours per week, with a half hour unpaid lunch.Work schedule will be a normal schedule as provided in the HPPA Master Agreement.Qualifications.Applicants should have experience and rate high in the following areas:Shall have at least a high school diploma.Good communication skills.Good public relations skills.Good attendance record is expected.Ability to work around interruptions.Ability to work with a variety of backgrounds.Ability to maintain confidentiality of students and staff.Willingness to be trained in district medication procedures.Duties.Assist with student healthcare, including but not limited to administration of medications and basic first-aid.Make attendance calls.Ability to use Google Applications.Ability to copy.Ability to file.Ability to look up information in database.Perform all assigned tasks in a prompt and professional manner.Act in the best interest of the school district.Other duties as assigned.Compensation:In accordance with the Salary Schedule - H.P.P.A.
