In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing data utilization for a significant government project. Your primary responsibilities will include aggregating data from multiple sources, designing plans for data collection, processing, storage, and reporting. This position requires a deep understanding of large-scale enterprise systems and expertise in Java programming, particularly within web application frameworks such as Java Server Faces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and QA professionals to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual eager to contribute to government innovation and work on impactful projects that make a difference in public service delivery.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of experience developing Java web applications utilizing the Java Server Faces Framework.At least five (5) years of experience in Java web application user interface design and implementation, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Three (3) years of experience integrating Java web applications with SQL databases using Hibernate.Three (3) years of experience in SQL relational database design and coding.Five (5) years of experience in software development, both independently and within team environments.Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business analysts and fellow developers to produce comprehensive software designs that align with project requirements.Provide accurate work estimates to project managers, deliver regular status updates, and track progress against project timelines.Formulate detailed program specifications and develop basic prototypes to validate concepts.Transform software designs and technical specifications into high-functioning, reliable code using Java and related technologies.Integrate individual software solutions into higher-level enterprise systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.Utilize web-based tools to create, enhance, and maintain web applications that meet user needs.Conduct periodic testing of code to verify functionality, perform debugging, and resolve issues promptly.Work closely with business, development, and QA teams to develop testing protocols and acceptance criteria.Implement upgrades and security patches to improve system security and operational efficiency.Assist in providing training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions to end-users and support teams.BenefitsGrabJobs values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package to support their well-being and professional growth.
