Senior Consultant / Consulting Manager - Early Childhood EducationFull-timeDepartment: PS_Public Sector Consulting TeamBusiness Unit: Professional ServicesIn this role you will serve as a senior consultant supporting education projects for states and other entities focused on serving children birth to age eight. These projects refine and develop robust accountability systems that improve child outcomes.Day-to-day ResponsibilitiesSupport business development by reviewing relevant RFPs and/or direct requests, interacting with existing and potential clients to assess needs, iterate solutions, and assist in proposal development aligned with Resultant offerings.Support specific projects to maintain goals established by state early childhood systems, including compliance with state and federal law, creating legislative action plans, budgets, policy statements, etc.Serve as a subject-matter expert and/or project manager, managing client relationships, scope and guiding a team through implementation of a scope of work aligned with client needs.Develop and maintain relationships with early childhood community leaders statewide to cultivate a network of high-impact leaders collaborating to serve children and families.Support thought-leadership activities such as blogs, white papers, conferences and related activities on early childhood policies, directives and strategies.Perform all other duties as directed by the team leaders and managers.Qualifications5+ years of consulting experience in early childhood or education, and/or relevant early childhood teaching/administration.Knowledge and experience with early childhood data and technologies (e.g., accountability systems).Bachelor's or Master's degree; focus in Early Childhood, Education, Policy, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.Experience creating and supporting large-scale strategic initiatives in a critical capacity.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, religion, or veteran status.Equal Opportunity EmployerJ-18808-Ljbffr
