SENECA PRINTING JOB DESCRIPTIONQuality ManagerJob Title: Quality Manager Department: Operations / ManufacturingLocation: Seneca, PA Reports To: President / Production ManagerPosition SummaryThe Quality Manager is responsible for leading the company’s quality assurance and continuous improvement programs to ensure all printed products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal performance goals. This role drives quality culture across the organization, reduces waste and rework, and ensures consistent production excellence in a fast-paced printing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and proceduresEstablish quality standards for printing processes, materials, and finished productsMonitor production quality metrics and lead corrective and preventive actionsInvestigate customer complaints and internal defects; drive root cause analysisPartner with production, prepress, and finishing teams to improve process consistencyConduct audits of workflows, equipment, and documentationLead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve efficiencyTrain employees on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practicesMaintain quality records, reports, and compliance documentationWork with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirementsSupport ISO or industry certification efforts (if applicable)QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing; printing industry experience strongly preferredKnowledge of printing processes (offset, digital, flexo, finishing) is a plusExperience with quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement toolsStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsAbility to read technical specifications and production documentationExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting toolsCore CompetenciesAttention to detail and process disciplineLeadership and team collaborationData-driven decision makingContinuous improvement mindsetStrong organizational and documentation skillsEqual Opportunity EmployerSeneca Printing is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.
