You'll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world class products to our customers. You will be responsible for filling cartons with assigned items and materials and keeping count of all cartons completed. You will also work alongside other operators and temporary help, and assist the Kitting Line Leads with training temps. Quality reviews of completed cartons and kits is made to ensure accuracy is within TBG's quality standards. Upon completion of the job, the Operator is also responsible for keeping the kitting environment safe, clean, and debris free.Shifts available: Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Overtime Eligible)A variety of these traits will help land you this job, if you have:a high school diploma or GEDprevious work experience in a Print Kitting environmentworked in a manufacturing environmentworked in the printing industryOn top of that you must:possess a thorough and organized approach to your workpay close attention to details on every projectbe able to read, write and understand Englishhave basic computer skillsbe self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needscomplete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company and Customer quality standardsapply effective time management and self-management skillsunderstand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee and customer informationbe able to quickly move from one project to other while dealing with a very stressful deadlinebe flexible to changeIn this position you will:help train and work alongside temporary labor to complete kitsassist the kitting line and/or hand application areasplace kitting cartons on pallets / skidstag completed skids with applicable job informationwrap pallets of completed kitskeep accurate counts to ensure that all kits are completedfill cartons with assigned materials and itemsassist in all prep work prior to the kitting lineperform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standardsclean up the general Kitting area to ensure it is free of debris and safeperform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by managementTo get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be:able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
