Sr. Data Analytics Engineer

DATA ANALYTICS ENGINEER role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data modeling and visualization solutions that enable informed business decisions. This position contributes by building and supporting a modernized data platform, collaborating across teams to deliver accurate, high-performance reporting and analytics that align with business needs.Responsibilities:Provide quality and performant data modeling and visualization solutions for cross-functional business units.Participate in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of a modern data platform.Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and governance teams to develop and implement enterprise solutions.Model, design, develop, test, and implement backend and frontend structures for visualization and reporting.Build dashboards following wireframe designs and integrate them with backend data models.Manage data flow and perform data formatting and processing for dashboards and self-service reporting.Conduct data transformation using ETL tools; build dimension views and fact tables.Gather and translate functional and technical requirements into reporting solutions.Oversee the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to report/dashboard creation.Troubleshoot data anomalies with engineering teams.Provide daily support for the data warehouse and associated data marts.Coordinate with various teams to ensure optimal performance, process, and access for reporting solutions.Improve data flow and quality to enhance accuracy and value.Document development processes for knowledge transfer.Educate and empower business users toward self-service reporting.Perform other duties as assigned within area of responsibility.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in software engineering roles.At least 2 years of experience with SAP HANA, Business Objects, and SAC platforms.At least 2 years of experience in technical design of data modeling for SAC Analytics.Minimum 3 years of experience designing and developing analytical queries, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.At least 2 years experience using dbt as a data orchestration tool.Minimum 2 years experience working in CICD frameworks.At least 2 years experience with Snowflake VWH and data modeling.Knowledge of HVR replication for data ingestion, Python and Java programming, fundamental data architecture and design, SQL, and strong data transformation skills.Pay Range and Compensation Package:$165,564.00 to $188,089.20 per yearBenefits & Perks:Paid volunteer daysEqual Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
