Sr. Solution Engineer, IT Virtualization and Infrastructure

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Solution Engineer, IT Virtualization and Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.This remote role will partner closely with sales leadership to shape complex solution discussions and move opportunities forward across global accounts. The position will serve as a trusted technical advisor on virtualization, hybrid cloud, and infrastructure modernization, helping customers evaluate fit, feasibility, and value. It will also bridge technical and commercial conversations by coordinating with internal teams on pricing, scoping, and delivery clarity. Strong presentation skills and consultative selling will be important as this person supports customer engagements throughout the sales cycle.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $209,000 – $314,000 annuallyResponsibilities Partner with senior account executives to influence sales opportunities globally Engage with customers to address technical needs and challenges during the sales cycle Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing and solution feasibility Act as a technical subject matter expert for IT infrastructure solutions Deliver presentations in person and virtually Guide clients on IT virtualization and modernization strategies Develop scoping requirements for service delivery clarityQualifications 12-15 years of experience in pre-sales engineering or solution architect roles in IT infrastructure technology 10+ years of IT virtualization architecture experience with vendors like VMware and Nutanix Technical expertise with hyperscalers and hybrid cloud environments Experience in IT infrastructure security and AI technologies Strong problem-solving abilities and consultative selling skillsBenefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Disability insurance Paid parental leave 401(k) program Generous paid time off (PTO)Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
