Collections Attorney (Junior Litigation) – NYCLocation: New York, NY (Hybrid)Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 + benefitsA well-established New York City law firm is seeking an attorney with direct experience handling collections matters to manage a high-volume caseload from inception through judgment and enforcement.This role is best suited for an attorney who is already working in collections, creditors’ rights, or debt recovery and can step in with minimal ramp-up.What You Will HandleManage a high-volume caseload of collections matters from filing through resolution Obtain judgments on behalf of clients for unpaid obligations Enforce judgments through post-judgment remedies (restraining notices, executions, etc.) Handle collections related to legal fees and commercial obligations Draft pleadings, motions, and enforcement documents Appear in court and manage matters independentlyIdeal Background1 + years of litigation experience Direct experience handling collection matters is required Experience in obtaining and enforcing judgments Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision Admitted to practice in New YorkWhy This RoleImmediate hands-on responsibility — not a support-only roleConsistent workflow with clear expectationsOpportunity to build litigation reps quickly in a structured environmentApplyIf your background aligns and you’re interested in learning more, apply directly or reach out to schedule a brief introductory call.
