Payroll AssistantSalary Range: $41,640- $41,880ABOUT THE COMPANYEstablished in the early 1950s as a local contractor, the company has expanded into a national operation.Focuses on providing engineering, manufacturing, and installation services for various construction and industrial products.Privately owned with decades of experience evolving from a local business into a recognized national provider in its field.Headquartered in Ohio, with multiple manufacturing locations across several states.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL ASSISTANT:The Payroll Assistant will process company's payroll (weekly and semi-monthly)Process wage withholding ordersMaintain employee records, including assisting with employee benefitsThe Payroll Assistant will answer general inquiries regarding pay or benefitsResponsible for data entry, filing, and reports.QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLL ASSISTANT ROLE:Understanding of timekeeping and payrollThe Payroll Assistant will possess strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid computer skills/Excellent data entryFlexible to help with administrative taskThe Payroll Assistant will create spreadsheets in Excel and use basic formulas
