Join us-and be part of something built to last.Coordinate the flow of field operations as a DispatcherCMT Technical Services is seeking a highly organized and responsive Dispatcher to support daily service and field operations. This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, vehicles, and resources to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly under pressure, and can make quick, informed decisions to keep operations running smoothly.Compensation: $25-30/hour depending on experienceLocation: West Valley City, UTFLSA Exemption: Non-ExemptSchedule: Hours may vary; flexibility required, including evenings or weekends as neededWhat you'll be doing:Coordinate and schedule drivers, technicians, and service teams based on workload, location, and project prioritiesCommunicate real-time updates with field staff, customers, and internal teamsRespond to delays, emergencies, and schedule changes by reallocating resources effectivelyMaintain accurate records of calls, assignments, service times, and job detailsUtilize dispatch software and GPS systems to track vehicles and manage workflowProvide excellent customer service by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and confirming appointmentsCollaborate with operations and project managers to improve efficiency and reduce downtimeEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulationsWhat you have:High school diploma or equivalentExperience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, emergency services, or customer serviceStrong communication and multitasking abilitiesAbility to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situationsProficiency with dispatch software, GPS systems, or scheduling toolsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work flexible hours as neededWhat will make you stand out:Knowledge of local geography or service areasExperience with fleet management systemsFamiliarity with DOT or industry-specific regulationsPreferred Certification(s):Relevant certifications in logistics, transportation, or dispatching (if applicable)CMT Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
