Electronics Quality Inspector
Job Title: QC Inspector

Responsibilities:
Adhere to company policies, procedures
Maintain the highest standards for quality workmanship, Safety and Housekeeping
Must be experienced with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole (TH) electronic components.
Responsible for identifying the problems and issues regarding product quality and production discrepancy.
Make IPC acceptability decisions during inspection. Must be computer literate.
Must be certified and experienced with IPC-A-610 (Classes II and III) and IPC-A-600 specifications as related to PCB & Assembly manufacturing.
Ability to recognize problems in the operation process or with components and to highlight/communicate those problems to Supervisor for immediate correction.
Essential duties include recording and collecting specific data and metrics to use in identifying issues and defining necessary corrective action to ensure the production of a quality product.
Read, understand, and comply with ISO procedures and work instructions.
Shall maintain a neat appearance about self & work area.
Shall be accountable for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed.
Shall practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Required Education/Experience
Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in PCB assembly inspection.
High School or GED degree. Associate degree in technical field is a plus.
Able to speak, write, and read English.

Flexibility to work Overtime on weekends and holidays as needed.

Able to work well under minimal supervision.
