Senior Project Manager (New York)

ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of complex IT and trading transformation projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, governance, risks, dependencies, change control, vendor coordination, and executive-level reporting from initiation through closure.Partner across Trading, Operations, Risk, Finance, Business Change, and technology teams to drive project execution, establish governance structures, facilitate Steering Committees, manage RAID activities, and ensure alignment across global stakeholders and delivery teams.Drive successful delivery and recovery of large-scale initiatives by re-baselining challenged projects, coordinating third-party vendors, maintaining financial oversight, and supporting hands-on activities including analysis, testing, UAT, and operational readiness.Requirements15+ years of IT project management experience within commodity trading and/or financial services environments, with strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and middle- and back-office operations.Proven expertise managing complex global technology programs across Agile delivery environments, including dependency management, financial control, vendor management, governance, project recovery, and executive stakeholder engagement.Strong working knowledge of enterprise delivery and collaboration tools including Jira, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Project, along with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills; Project Management Institute PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
