The RVT will be responsible for providing skilled animal care, assisting veterinarians during medical procedures, administering anesthetics, monitoring patients, educating clients about pet care, and ensuring the health and comfort of animals in our hospital. Additional responsibilities include maintaining medical records, handling laboratory tasks, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.We arw a paperless cornerstone practice and one of the very last remaining privately ownwed hospitals in rhe area.Work week is 4 shifts tuesday, wednesday, thursday 8 am to 7 pm with hour lunch , and saturday 830-6 pm with lunchWage compensation $27-$35 DOEBenefits include sick, PTO, 401 k worh enployer matching, discounted services, kaiser health plan availability with hospotal paying half the cost of silver planQualificationsProficiency in Animal Care and Pet CareExperience with Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology practices: dentistry experience is a bonusSkills in Client Education and clear communication with pet owners regarding estimatesStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesValid and active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licenseCompassion for animals and a commitment to their health and well-beingAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentPrevious experience in a veterinary practice is a plus
