This role establishes technical standards and reference architectures to protect models, data, pipelines, and inference systems at scale.ResponsibilitiesDefine enterprise AI security reference architecturesDesign controls for model training, fine-tuning, validation, deployment, and monitoringArchitect protections against model inversion, data poisoning, prompt injection, adversarial attacks, and model extractionIntegrate AI security into DevSecOps and MLOps pipelinesDefine model isolation, secure inference, API protection, and runtime monitoring patternsEstablish secure data pipelines for training and RAG systemsLead AI threat modeling and security design reviewsEvaluate and select AI security tooling and platformsQualifications10+ years in security architectureStrong knowledge of ML pipelines, model lifecycle, and GenAI architecturesExperience in cloud security architectureExpertise in cryptography, identity, and data protectionDeep knowledge of API security and zero trust principlesExperience with secure model hosting platformsKnowledge of AI explainability and model governance toolingContributions to AI security research or open-sourceWhat's in it for you?Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Allyship - We strive to create an inclusive culture where every employee is empowered to reach their fullest potential, respected for who they are, and are embraced through bias-free practices and inclusive values across Scotiabank.
