Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us.We're currently seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our Speech & Audiology Department at our Galion location.Position OverviewSpeech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are responsible for providing appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, plan of care, and therapeutic interventions in the areas of swallowing, cognitive-linguistic, speech, voice, and language disorders. The SLP will work directly with patients, their families, and collaborate with healthcare providers in providing education, counseling, and facilitation of additional care/intervention as needed.QualificationsRequired:Master's degree from an approved school of speech/language pathologyCurrent State Licensure in Speech Pathology (as Speech Pathologist).BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.Knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology.Preferred:Previous experience working as a Speech PathologistCertificate of competence form the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.Why Join the Avita Health System Team?At Avita, we're committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where every team member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our communities.
