Senior Human Resources Manager
Job Title: Senior Human Resources ManagerCompensation: $140 – 155K + BonusLocation: Pico Rivera, CA (Hybrid 3 days Onsite)The OpportunityOur client is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of HR Operations to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide HR processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring HR operations are efficient, compliant, data-driven, and aligned with business strategy.The position oversees core operational areas including HR systems, benefits and leave administration, compensation processes, recruiting operations, and employee data governance. This leader will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver consistent, high-quality HR services that support both employees and leadership.Key Responsibilities:Lead the execution and ongoing optimization of HR operational functions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability across the organization.Establish standardized processes, service levels, and internal controls to support efficient and compliant HR service delivery.Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.Own the strategy and governance of HR systems, including configuration, workflows, integrations, and reporting capabilities.Partner with IT, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure alignment and integrity of employee data across systems.Conduct regular data audits and implement controls to maintain high standards of data accuracy and reliability.Oversee the administration of employee benefits and leave of absence programs across multiple states.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and applicable leave laws.Manage vendor relationships and serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive benefits and leave issues.Oversee compensation administration, including job architecture, pay adjustments, and adherence to salary structures.Support annual compensation processes such as merit increases and market reviews.Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws across all jurisdictions.Drive consistency and efficiency in recruiting operations, including requisition approvals and workflow management.Partner with hiring leaders to improve time-to-fill, process efficiency, and candidate experience.Ensure seamless integration between recruiting, onboarding, and HR systems.Provide guidance and support on escalated employee relations matters, ensuring proper documentation and policy alignment.Lead, coach, and develop a team supporting HR operations, systems, and benefits functions.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.Build organizational capability through cross-training, knowledge sharing, and succession planning.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to multi-state operations.Demonstrated success leading teams and driving operational excellence.Strong experience with HRIS platforms (UKG experience preferred).
