Janitor - Part-Time (Weekend) We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff member to maintain cleanliness at a small location in Traer, Iowa. This is a low-hour, part-time opportunity ideal for someone looking for supplemental income with a flexible schedule. Wage: $25.00/hour Schedule: 1 Visit Per Week (Approximately 1 Hour) Location: Traer, IA Schedule Details: Preferred: Weekends (Saturday after 12:00 PM or anytime Sunday) - Alternative: Weekday evenings may be considered for candidates located nearby Janitor Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general upkeep Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other designated areas Empty and remove trash from all assigned areas Handle and use cleaning supplies appropriately and safely Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing detergents and water according to guidelines Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility Respond to basic cleanliness or service-related needs as they arise Ensure all assigned areas are properly maintained and presentable Work independently while meeting established cleanliness standards Requirements for Janitor: Proficiency in janitorial, housekeeping, or general cleaning tasks preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Reliable, punctual, and consistent in completing weekly duties - Ability to follow procedures for cleaning products and equipment - Independent transportation to and from the job site required - Ability to lift moderate weights (e.g., vacuum or cleaning equipment) - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally - Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, and pull throughout the duration of the cleaning task - Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning duties in a commercial environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
