OverviewSRAM is seeking innovative and passionate individuals to join us for a unique summer internship experience. Our interns will join a team of highly collaborative and cross-functional professionals who lead the industry in bicycle component products. To gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside finance and accounting professionals while building a strong foundation for achieving your career goals.ResponsibilitiesOpportunity to learn SRAM’s global finance and general ledger reporting structureGain proficiency in ERP software (SAP) and Microsoft suite of productsAssist in month-end close procedures in accordance with the global finance teamPrepare monthly general ledger account reconciliationsAssist with preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial and tax filingsParticipate in various process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts around general accounting processesPerform monthly analysis of actual to plan operating expense results, and deliver results to finance teamAssist North America Controller, Tax Director, and other finance managers on special projectsQualificationsPursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceGood understanding of accounting theory and practicesKnowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate strong work ethic, and self-starter capabilities in a dynamic and cross-functional team environmentAbility to operate efficiently, independently, and to seek constant improvement in achieving team goalsWe know that SRAM’s success is due to the hard work, passion, and commitment of our team members around the world.
