You will play a key role in assisting Hydraulink to source the right products, at the right time, for the best value. Alongside this you will ensure effective purchase order management and that supplier relationships being managed effectively.This is a great role for someone with some experience in purchasing and logistics OR someone from within the industry with a strong warehousing background wanting to take the next step in their career.What You Will Be DoingInvestigating and securing material sources, assuring that all products supplied meet 100% specification, on time delivery, full quantity, long term continuity, and cost savings.Proactively managing local supplier relationships.Tracking orders and maintaining delivery date accuracy in PRONTO.A wide variety of reportingData management and updating in our system as requiredLiaising with Customer Services to ensure stock availability inquiries are promptly answered Providing the customer with accurate and up to date information regarding product delivery.About The PersonGood knowledge and understanding of the hydraulic hose & fitting industry OR a similar industrial industryPrevious experience in purchasing and logistics or warehousingComputer savvy and able to use a variety of programmes (use of Pronto is advantageous)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGreat communication & interpersonal skills Well-developed time management skillsAbout The CompanyAt Hydraulink we like to keep things moving, it's in our DNA.
