Maintenance Technician

• Title: Maintenance Technician• Location : Denver Colorado 80216(ONSITE)• Duration : 06 months contract to begin with• Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens and Perm ResidentsMonday-Friday 6am-2pmJob Description• Performs inspections and does welding maintenance on plant equipment and/or machinery.• Uses a wide variety of hand and power tools including all necessary welding equipment and support equipment.• Must work safely and follow all plant/company documented safety policies and procedures.Principal Duties and Responsibilities::• Assists in repairs and maintenance of necessary plant equipment.• Must be able to operate welding equipment necessary for the role• Assists in removal and or installation of new or repaired equipment.• Wipes down and removes waste oil from all plant operations.• Uses appropriate welding equipment for equipment/machine repairs.• Follows all plant wide and companywide safety policies and procedures and uses appropriate PPE.• Complies with good housekeeping practices on the job and ensures work areas are clean and picked up after each job completion.• Follows all environmental compliance polices & programs.• Works as instructed with all departments.• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area• All other duties as assigned or needed• Regular Attendance on site and ability to rotate to varying shiftsESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:• Able to do repetitive hand, arm, leg movements for several hours• Able to climb on and off fork truck• Ability to stand for 8 hours straight• Able to climb and descend stairs for up to 8 hours continuously• Lift and push and pull up to 40lbs.• Must be able to squat, bend at the waist and knees freely• Exposure to temperature extremes• Exposure to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable• Bending and twisting• Handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or control• Repetitive movementsSKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Able to think under pressure and make quick decisions• Ability to work well in a team or alone
