Job Description Molding Set Up Location: South Holland, IL Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (potential of increase as they learn the job) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Assignment Type: Temp to Hire Requirements: Resume/Interview/Authorized to work in the U.S. Position Overview Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Machine Operator with set-up experience to join the Finishing Department. This role is responsible for setting up and operating finishing machines to cut and shape both small and large parts to precise job specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for measurement accuracy. They will be working on hydraulic and air presses. Primary Responsibilities:* Set up and operate finishing machines for both small and large part production * Follow set-up procedures to adjust machines for specific product size and shape requirements * Change collets and diamond wheels as needed based on runout or job specifications * Monitor production to ensure parts meet required dimensions and quality standards * Measure parts consistently to maintain accuracy and quality control * Complete production tickets and accurately record output * Track and document non-conforming parts (NCP) * Stop production and notify supervisor if NCP levels approach or exceed 10% * Maintain a safe and organized work environmentRequirements:* Previous machine set-up experience preferred * Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability read calipers, micrometers. * Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy * Ability to read and use measuring tools * Comfortable working in a production environment * Ability to follow instructions and quality proceduresAdditional Information:* Role requires balancing quality and production efficiency * Strong focus on precision and minimizing scrap is critical * Bi-lingual is huge plus to communicate with employees in this departmentCompany Description Just In Time Staffing seeks to pair top candidates with opportunities that will be mutually beneficial for both them and the employers.Company DescriptionJust In Time Staffing seeks to pair top candidates with opportunities that will be mutually beneficial for both them and the employers.
