Investment Associate - Public Credit (Opportunistic Credit)

An investment management platform is seeking an Associate to join its Liquid Credit investing team in New York. .Qualifications2–4 years of relevant experience in asset management, hedge funds, investment banking, leveraged finance, credit research, or related fieldsStrong understanding of corporate credit markets and fixed income productsExperience analyzing financial statements and corporate capital structuresAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesHigh attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced investment environmentBachelor’s degree required; CFA progress or designation is a plusKey ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and execute liquid and opportunistic credit investment opportunities across public marketsPerform fundamental credit analysis, underwriting, and financial modelingConduct industry, company, and capital structure research to support investment decisionsMonitor portfolio positions and identify relative value opportunities across sectors and issuersPrepare investment memos, market commentary, and materials for internal investment discussionsTrack market, earnings, and macro developments impacting credit marketsPartner with senior investors and traders on portfolio positioning and risk management
