Your Essential Duties Will Include:Assisting doctors and other technicians with restraint, vaccines, nail trims, and bandages. Providing top-notch customer service and client education on topics like preventative care and surgical procedures. Answering phone calls and managing client flow from check-in to discharge. Monitoring patients during surgery and performing phlebotomy. Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and processing transactions. General cleaning and maintenance of the hospital. Qualifications and Skills:Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is required. Education:High School Diploma or G.E.D. Physical Requirements:Must be able to safely lift up to 40 pounds. Key Skills:We need someone with excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. You must be able to multitask, accept constructive criticism, and demonstrate a positive attitude. Bonus Skills:Experience with Ezyvet Software and/or Veterinary Technician Certification is a plus! Note:If you do not have previous veterinary experience, you may be considered for a Veterinary Assistant position, with pay adjusted accordingly. This is an in-person position.
