Understanding of Star&Delta motor starter configurations
Ability to change the rotation of AC Motors
Ability to read and use multimeter
Understanding of AC and DC applications
Understanding of Control Circuits and Power Circuits
Working knowledge of how to diagnose and repair 24v & 120v electrical shorts/ground faults
Understand the concept and components used in electricity (i.e., motors, inductors, transformers, capacitors, resistors)
Ability to identify different types of sensors and their application use (inductive, capacitive, digital, analog, etc)
Understanding of relay logic (ice cube relays, timers, counters)
Understanding of motor starters (coil wires, contacts, auxiliaries, holding contact, overloads, etc)
Ability to work with 480v/277v/208/120v systems troubleshooting
Understanding of how safety relays work and their interaction with the equipment controlling them (light curtains, safety switches, e-stops)
Ability to comprehend complex electrical schematics
