Apply via Dice today!Position: Senior Back End Developer (Node.js)Location: RemoteMode of Hire: ContractRequired Qualifications:7+ years in backend software development.Proficient in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL databases.Familiarity with agile methodologiesKnowledge of version control systems like Git and the ability to collaborate with development teams using Git-based workflows.Experience with CI/CD tools.Familiarity with Azure DevOps.Understanding of microservices architecture.Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.Experience with performance monitoring tools and the ability to proactively address bottlenecks and issues.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), with a deep understanding of best practices, patterns, and advanced features.Experience integrating Node.js applications with React front ends.Knowledge of logging tools like AppInsights and Dynatrace.Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
