*About the Role*
The *Order Processing Specialist* is a key member of Xometry’s customer operations team, responsible for ensuring the accurate intake, validation, and processing of customer purchase orders across a diverse manufacturing environment.
In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will work directly with customers through *email, phone, and chat* to resolve order-related issues, address discrepancies, and help maintain order momentum during critical pre-manufacturing stages.
You will serve as a frontline operational resource, helping maintain data accuracy, support a seamless customer experience, and ensure that orders move efficiently through the processing workflow.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Review and process customer purchase orders, ensuring alignment with internal quotes and compliance with pricing, delivery terms, part specifications, and contractual requirements.
* Serve as a customer-facing point of contact, responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies related to order documentation through phone, email, and chat.
* Maintain a high level of data accuracy and ensure that order records and customer case notes comply with established documentation standards.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with *Pre-Sales Engineering (PSE), Quality, Legal, Sales, and Accounting* teams to resolve order barriers and support continuous order flow.
* Identify and escalate stalled or at-risk orders in a timely manner and contribute to mitigation efforts and root-cause analysis.
* Monitor active processing queues and conduct structured follow-up to support timely order resolution.
* Participate in team standups, knowledge-sharing sessions, training, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
* Adapt to business needs and provide schedule flexibility, including occasional weekend and holiday coverage during peak periods.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in *order management, sales operations, supply chain, customer operations, or a similar operational support function* is preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
* *Bilingual (Spanish and English) *
* Ability to understand and navigate technical documentation and interpret commercial terms.
* Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Ability to work independently while following established processes and maintaining alignment with team and leadership expectations.
* Experience with CRM or ERP platforms such as *Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar systems* is a plus.
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Post-secondary education, technical training, or industry-specific certifications are a plus.

*Monday through Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM*
Schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs, including occasional weekend and holiday coverage during peak periods.
