This role focuses on building developer platforms, internal tools, and IDE extensions to enhance engineering productivity across the enterprise.This is not a traditional coding-heavy role—ideal candidates are self-starters with strong cloud and platform experience who enjoy working across teams to improve developer workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build developer platforms, internal tools, and engineering marketplacesDevelop and maintain IDE extensions/plugins (VS Code or similar)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable platform capabilitiesDesign and support secure, high-availability distributed systems and APIsEnhance developer productivity using tools like GitHub Copilot and similar DevAssist toolsContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesWork across organizational boundaries to support diverse engineering teamsContinuously improve engineering experience and workflowsRequired Skills & Experience3–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering / Software EngineeringStrong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)Experience building developer tools, platforms, or internal applicationsStrong experience with IDEs (VS Code) and plugin/extension developmentKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience designing and developing scalable applications and APIsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyNice to HaveExperience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development toolsExposure to open-source technologies or contributionsCloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
