Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has a great opportunity available for a Final Assembly Supervisor at a company in Liberty, MO. This is a direct hire position for 2nd shift. The Final Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the final assembly area, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Final Assembly Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the final assembly team
Ensure production schedules are met with minimal downtime
Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency
Collaborate with planning, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
Enforce adherence to company policies, work instructions, and safety procedures
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality and compliance
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects or assembly issues
Train, coach, and mentor assembly team members
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts as needed
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA and company safety standards
Conduct safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations
Identify and mitigate workplace hazards
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
Support lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc.)
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, and efficiency
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Monitor labor hours, attendance, and overtime
Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives
Requirements for Final Assembly Supervisor:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of assembly processes and manufacturing systems
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents (if applicable)
