Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available with an immediate start serving students through the end of the school year. This role focuses on providing specialized support for an elementary caseload comprised of 15 students in grades 3rd through 5th. Instruction will involve a combination of push-in and pull-out small group settings tailored to meet individual student needs.Key Responsibilities:Deliver specialized instruction aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) for 3rd to 5th grade students.Collaborate with general education teachers to implement push-in support within the classroom.Provide pull-out small group instruction targeting specific learning goals.Monitor and track student progress through assessment and data collection.Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration to support student success.Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and accommodations.Desired Qualifications:Valid Special Education teaching certification.Experience working with elementary-level students within the special education framework.Ability to differentiate instruction and manage a caseload of approximately 15 students.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Patience and dedication toward fostering student growth and independence.Location:This position is located in Crystal Lake, IL, suitable for educators seeking to make an impact in a supportive school environment.This contract role offers the chance to utilize your special education expertise in an elementary setting, engaging students through focused instruction and meaningful collaboration.
