Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead preventive maintenance (PM) and reliability initiatives for complex manufacturing equipment. This role combines hands-on technical work with project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven maintenance improvements.Responsibilities:Lead a team of engineers in PM and CMMS management.Design, implement, and communicate weekly maintenance plans.Provide technical support to mechanics and operators as needed.Use RCA tools (FMEA, 5-Whys, Fishbone) to identify current and potential failures.Advise project teams on equipment design, installation, revisions, and total cost of ownership.Develop work instructions, investment proposals, and reliability improvement plans.Track and analyze KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and downtime.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.6+ years of progressive experience in industrial equipment reliability or maintenance.Strong knowledge of PLCs, controls, and electrical drive systems.Deep expertise with RCA tools: FMEA, 5-Whys, Fishbone.Experience with 3D/CAD systems and CMMS software (Ultimo, MVP-1, SAP, Maximo, etc.).Previous project management experience required.U.S. citizen or green card holder.
