This is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to build the future of beverage distribution and grow with a company that truly cares about its people.OverviewThe Courier supports operations by delivering and picking up items for accounts, vendors, subsidiaries, and corporate associates; completing scheduled routes within headquarters and local subsidiaries; responding to special requests; making bank deposits, cashing checks, and picking up bank transactions; driving and maintaining service vehicle.Primary ResponsibilitiesRecord information during the delivery process and check delivery system to confirm deliveries and collections or receive delivery instructionsCommunicate with recipients to obtain signatures and payments or arrange for recipients to make paymentsPlan and follow the most efficient delivery routes; sort and load items for the most efficient deliveryDeliver packages and materials to designated destinations using diverse transportation tools; receive items to be delivered and check information on delivery formsPick up and deliver packages and materials, per request, using diverse transportation toolsDeliver important documents and items from one place to anotherTake orders over the phone to determine where an item needs to be picked up and deliveredDeliver paper, water, and supplies to various areas of the building to ensure that supplies and stock are available to employees as neededRun errands to purchase supplies daily, weekly, or as requestedPick-up and deliver external and inter-office mail to Front Desk Coordinator(s)Perform daily post office run for PO Box correspondenceConduct daily pick-up and deliveries to and from the office and warehouse facilitiesObtain signatures on delivery items as neededLoad and unload delivery items from the vehicle as neededPerform other job-related duties as assignedAdditional Primary ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience* Clean driving record and valid driver s licensePhysical DemandsPhysical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machinePhysical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stoopingMay require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbsThis position is deemed a safety-sensitive position.
