Assistant Teacher

Kindercare Learning Centers is looking for a full time Assistant Teacher for our school in Tualatin, OR. The Assistant Teacher will work with the teacher and will assist the teacher in planning, coordinating, implementing, and supervising activities and programs. The Assistant Teacher will provide excellent classroom supervision to students and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the classroom. The Assistant Teacher will maintain a safe and clean learning environment for students by supervising students while they are outside or inside of the classroom, enforcing school policy, and providing assistance to students as needed. Duties: ·Assist the teacher with planning, coordinating, implementing, and supervising activities and programs. ·Provide excellent classroom supervision to students by supervising students while they are outside or inside of the classroom, enforcing policy, and providing assistance to students as needed. ·Maintain a safe and clean learning environment for students by taking responsibility for the maintenance of the classroom, cleaning it after each use, and preparing it for each session. ·Be able to respond quickly to any emergency in the classroom or student section of the school. ·Be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
