Senior Project Engineer, Civil Engineering - A nationally recognized industrial real estate developer and design build organization is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join its growing Civil Engineering team. This role will support large scale industrial and logistics developments across multiple markets, working closely with internal development, design, and construction teams throughout the lifecycle of complex site development projects.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technically challenging projects involving mass grading, site development, utility coordination, and large acreage industrial facilities.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze civil engineering plans, specifications, and technical documentationPerform site development and earthwork analysis for large scale industrial projectsSupport grading, drainage, stormwater, paving, and utility design coordinationEvaluate site feasibility, constructability, and development risksCoordinate with internal teams and external consultants through entitlement, design, and construction phasesReview earthwork quantities, balancing strategies, and grading plansParticipate in plan reviews and provide technical recommendations related to civil/site designAssist with permitting, municipal coordination, and agency review commentsSupport project execution from preconstruction through completionCollaborate with development and construction teams to ensure schedules and budgets remain on trackQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering highly preferred3+ years of experience in civil engineering, site development, or land development projectsStrong understanding of site work, grading, and earthwork analysisExperience reviewing civil plans and technical details for industrial or large commercial developmentsExperience with large acreage developments strongly preferredKnowledge of stormwater management, utilities, and site infrastructure systemsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environmentStrong communication and coordination skillsPreferred BackgroundExperience from firms focused on:Land developmentIndustrial site developmentLarge scale commercial or logistics facilitiesCivil consulting engineeringWhat Makes This Opportunity UniqueHigh profile industrial development projects across the countryLarge scale, technically complex site development workCollaborative in house development, engineering, and construction teamsStrong long term project pipelineOpportunity to have direct impact on major industrial developments from concept through completionCandidates coming from nationally recognized engineering and land development consulting firms are highly encouraged to apply.
