Side Dump Driver

Site Development is looking for side dump drivers and heavy equipment operators to join our team in Avon, SD. Summary: The Driver is responsible for transporting gravel between Avon, SD and Gregory, SD, and various other locations. Class A CDL is required for truck drivers. Minimum experience required, We are willing to train operators! Responsibilities: Load, transport, and deliver in-process and finished goods products to/from pit; assist with the unloading of delivery vehicles; maintain accurate records of delivery data; report malfunction of vehicles and/or defective units to Manager. Assist with unloading. Assist with loading and unloading of trailers. Perform duties under minimal supervision, or as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. Assist with maintaining clean and orderly work areas, vehicles, and equipment. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Maintain a safe work environment for others. Follow safety procedures and make sure all equipment is properly maintained. Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. Qualifications: The qualifications for this position are as follows: Must be 21 years of age or older, or have obtained a driver’s license within the past 3 months (if eligible). Must have a Class A CDL No more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years. No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years. No more than 1 accident in the last 3 years.
