CNC Mill Machinist - Manufacturing

Job description: Work Shift 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM (overtime and weekend work as required) Job Duties Under general supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills, computerized numerical control/numerical control and /or manual machines. May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work. May have a demonstrated expertise in a particular machining process or machine type or work on one single purpose machine which may involve multiple machining processes. Operate Mori Seiki and DMU CNC milling machines producing precision components Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards Perform machine setups, tool changes, work offsets, and minor CNC program edits Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators Monitor tooling condition and make adjustments as needed to maintain part quality Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues with minimal supervision Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve machining performance and output Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment Experience operating Mori Seiki and/or DMU milling machines preferred Strong knowledge of FANUC and Heidenhain controls required Ability to operate multiple machines while maintaining high quality standards Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a machining environment Experience with machine setup, tooling, offsets, and minor program adjustments Ability to read and interpret complex prints and GD&T requirements Proficient with precision measuring instruments including: Micrometers Calipers Bore gauges Dial indicators High school diploma or GED required Technical machining training preferred Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and productivity Experience working in a fast-paced production machining environment preferred World Class Benefits At Halliburton, we're committed to providing you and your family with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package - which means we offer support for your physical, emotional, financial and parental needs, both now and in the future.  When you join our team, you'll have access to a wide range of resources designed to help you thrive at work and at home.  By clicking here, you can review a summary of the benefits available once you join.
