We are currently seeking a Lead Electrician / Journeyman-level professional to help run small crews in residential and light commercial settings. This is a leadership role for someone who knows the trade well, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of both the work and the people around them. A Texas Journeyman Electrician license is strongly preferred. Position Overview As a Lead Electrician, you will serve as the primary field leader on assigned jobs—overseeing day-to-day work, guiding apprentices or helpers, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Typical crew sizes range from 1–3 electricians, depending on the scope of work. You will be hands-on while also setting the tone for professionalism, craftsmanship, and customer care. Our work is primarily residential service, remodels, and new construction, with some light commercial projects mixed in. We serve the Marble Falls area and the greater Highland Lakes region, providing consistent, year-round work. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a small crew on residential and light commercial projects Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with NEC standards Troubleshoot electrical issues safely, efficiently, and accurately Install panels, wiring, devices, lighting, and related components Coordinate job tasks and maintain workflow on-site Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management Mentor and train apprentices and less-experienced electricians Uphold Strive Electric’s values of integrity, respect, and Christ-centered service Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in the electrical industry Texas Journeyman Electrician license strongly preferred (or equivalent experience actively working toward licensure) Strong residential experience required; light commercial experience a plus Proven ability to lead others and run jobs effectively; prior leadership or crew-lead responsibilities should be reflected in resume or work history Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Strong communication and customer-service mindset Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation High standards for workmanship, safety, and professionalism Benefits 4-Day Workweeks (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days) 2 Weeks Paid Time Off 8 Paid Holidays per year 2 Paid Sick Days Competitive pay based on experience and license level Pro-family work/life balance Supportive, faith-driven team environment Work Culture Strive Electric operates with a Christ-centered approach, emphasizing integrity, service, and treating people right.
