Lean, hands‑on culture where finance and office leadership are trusted to independently manage day‑to‑day accounting and administrative operations.Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant / Controller will be responsible for full‑cycle accounting and office financial management for a small manufacturing organization. This individual will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, payroll, and coordination with an external CPA firm. The role also includes oversight of one office staff member and involvement in basic administrative and compliance support.This position reports directly to the Owner.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & FinanceManage full‑cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledgerPrepare monthly and year‑end financial statementsLead month‑end and year‑end close processesReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accountsCoordinate with external CPA firm on taxes, audits, and year‑end reportingSupport budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and basic financial analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls and audit requirementsHandle project billing activitiesPayroll & BenefitsProcess payroll for a union and non‑union workforceManage 401(k) administration and related filingsSupport employee benefits administration and documentationOffice & Administrative ManagementOversee day‑to‑day office operationsManage and support one office administratorMaintain organized financial and operational recordsAct as liaison between ownership, operations, and external partnersSupport compliance documentation tied to quality certifications and auditsSoftware & SystemsEpicor ERPMicrosoft ExcelIf you meet these requirements and are interested in this great opportunity, please email your resume in confidence to Ryan Genua at Ryan.Genua@roberthalf com.
