ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Service TechnicianMaintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehiclesComplete preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filtersMaintain vehicle functional condition by listening to driver's complaintsVerify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systemsComply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standardsMaintain vehicle records by recording service and repairsKeeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehiclesKeep shop equipment operating by following operating instructionsContain costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts optionsUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications etcQualifications/Requirements: Service TechnicianRequirementsGM Certification RequiredMust have at least 3 years' Tech experience, preferably at a dealershipAuto Mechanic, Service Technician experience is requiredAbility to multi-task in a high-volume settingMechanical/troubleshooting skills and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentGood work ethic and problem-solving skillsThrives in a fast paced, team environmentMotivated to learn new repair/service proceduresValid driver's license and good driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current residentMust pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screenBenefitsPotential to Earn Up to $100,000 +Full-time positionMedical, Dental and Vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) retirement plan – company matchedPaid time off (PTO)Career advancement opportunitiesDrug-free workplaceSchedule: Monday to Friday - Weekend availability
