Position Summary: As our EHS & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, leading, and maintaining a culture of safety, environmental compliance, and operational reliability across the manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA & state environmental agencies) and will implement and develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. You will also manage facility infrastructure, preventative maintenance programs, utility operations, and contractor activities. Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred)Minimum 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settingsThorough knowledge of OSHA Standards and EPA regulations.Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems in industrial settings.Strong capability to drive cultural change, engage frontline personnel in safety practices, and communicate effectively with plant executive leadership.Strong communication, team mentorship, cross functional leadership skills, and project management skills Our core values - Accountability, Collaboration, and Empowerment (ACE) - are the foundation of how we operate and drive success. Are You Our Next ACE?Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs, climb ladders, walk large production plant floors daily, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.Comfortable with on-call availability to respond to site emergencies or facility failures during off-hours.Developing, implementing, and enforcing EHS policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.)Managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructureEnsuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, safety, and health regulationsConducting routine safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessmentsManaging departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and contractor relationshipsLeading emergency preparedness, training, and response planning for both sitesCollaboration with Production Managers, HR, and Quality to create an integrated and efficient safety cultureSupporting cross-functional initiatives involving process improvement, Lean, and 5S,Liaising with regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors as neededWorking with engineering and operations teams to plan and execute equipment upgrades and facility expansionsCoaching, mentoring, and developing maintenance and EHS team members across both sitesBuilding safety awareness and accountability at all levels of the organizationLeading training programs to empower employees on safe practices, hazard recognition, and compliancePromoting a culture of proactive problem-solving and preventative maintenanceEncouraging feedback and engagement from frontline workers to identify areas for improvement Systems You'll Use:Google EnterpriseADP Lyric For a sneak peek into some of our benefits and to learn more about our career opportunities, click here https://www.winconn.com/jobs/.
