Periodic office meetings are required. The therapist must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Each visit and activity (documentation, travel, etc.) holds a different point value. Contractors must achieve roughly 6-8 points per day. There are no guaranteed hours. If the contractor is unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census, they should contact the manager to discuss floating to a nearby clinic for additional hours. The types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Ups. First-time contractors are not accepted. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession, to be discussed in the interview. Travelers must be willing to go up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate. Contractors are compensated from patient home to patient home. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. No pending licenses are accepted; candidates must have a license in hand. Candidates should confirm comfort with the expectations of the position, including accepting all scheduled patients regardless of distance. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed or incomplete documentation that impacts billing and patient care may result in cancellation. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Contractors must hit weekly productivity points of 30, which equates to 40 hours per week. All overtime must be pre-approved. If contractors are not receiving enough patients each week, they will have the opportunity to float to a nearby clinic to pick up patients.
