Technical Project Manager - Testing

A Fortune 500 investment firm is seeking a Project Manager to support a large-scale Mainframe Exit program. This is a highly visible initiative focused on migrating and modernizing legacy systems that have been in place for over 35 years.This role sits within a small, high-impact PMO team supporting approximately 20 active workstreams. The Project Manager will play a critical role in coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders—ensuring alignment, driving testing efforts, and maintaining strong project governance.This position requires the ability to quickly understand complex, interconnected systems and operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Hybrid schedule with required on-site presence in Owings Mills (Tues/Wed)Key ResponsibilitiesTesting Strategy & Coordination (Primary Focus)Drive and coordinate testing strategy and execution across business and technology teamsLead defect triage processes, ensuring timely identification, tracking, and resolutionCoordinate testing schedules and ensure alignment across multiple workstreamsAct as the bridge between business users and technical teams during testing cyclesProject Management & PMO SupportDevelop and maintain project documentation including timelines, procedures, and status reportsCapture and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and follow-upsProvide status updates and communications to stakeholders at various levelsSupport daily PMO stand-ups and ensure alignment across workstreamsManage shifting priorities and move fluidly between multiple initiativesRequired Qualifications5–6+ years of experience in Project Management or Project CoordinationStrong understanding of testing lifecycles, test strategy, and defect triageProven ability to manage documentation, timelines, and stakeholder communicationsExperience working across multiple workstreams in complex programsAbility to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendorsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting large-scale transformation or migration programsFamiliarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)Experience with Microsoft tools (Power BI for reporting is a plus)Experience with JIRA, MS Project, or similar project management toolsAbility to navigate complex environments with strong personalities and SMEs#J-18808-Ljbffr
