The Director of Finance will create clarity, accountability, and forward-looking financial insight across multiple operating companies while partnering directly with executive leadership.While Fruge Seafood will represent the primary operational focus, this role will influence financial systems, reporting structure, and decision-making across the entire organization.What You’ll DoLead the Financial System Across All CompaniesYou will own the organization’s “system of financial truth,” including:Building reliable financial reporting systemsEnsuring timely, accurate, and actionable dataDeveloping clear scoreboards and KPI trackingSupporting leaders with forward-looking analysis and insightImproving visibility into profitability, performance, and operational trendsCreating structure that enables scalable growthPrimary Focus: Fruge SeafoodThe majority of your time and attention will support Fruge Seafood operations, where you will:Drive gross margin visibility and improvementLead weekly scoreboard and pace trackingPartner closely with operational leadership on pricing, purchasing, and sales behaviorHelp leadership make faster, better-informed decisionsSupporting Role: JT MeleckIn partnership with the General Manager, you will provide financial clarity and infrastructure by:Managing reporting systems and sales/depletion trackingMaintaining accurate and trusted financial scoreboardsDelivering actionable financial insightsSupporting strategic decision-makingThis role does not run the business operationally but ensures leadership has the financial visibility needed to perform effectively.Farming OperationsYou will also support farming operations through:Financial performance visibilityForecasting and planning supportAlignment between agricultural output and downstream business needsWhat We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a finance leader who combines analytical strength with operational awareness and leadership presence.Ideal candidates will have:Experience leading finance across multiple business units or entitiesStrong operational finance and KPI management experienceAbility to simplify complex financial information into actionable insightsExperience building reporting systems and financial accountability structuresStrong communication and partnership skills with executive leadershipA hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentalityExperience in manufacturing, food & beverage, distribution, agriculture, spirits, or related operational industries is strongly preferredGrowth OpportunityThis role has significant long-term growth potential.
