Look no further!Main Street Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygiensist to join our team Part-time.ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Hygienist at Main Street Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists in providing outstanding dental care. Your responsibilities will include:Perform all dental hygiene procedures including by not limited to: routine treatment procedures such as cleaning, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and fluorides, and all related perio proceduresSupport the dentist in developing and implementing individualized dental hygiene procedures for all patients and delivering the patient's education plan Complete accurate charting of patients: perio charting and pre-existingWork under the supervision of dentist in delivering the patient's education planAssist dentists in the performance of special tests, procedures and complex operations related to patient's dental careAny other dental duties and procedures as may be required by the clinic's dental director.Take accurate notes on the provided treatment and teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patientsSort and package instruments by tray for proper sterilization, following all OSHA guidelines: act as OSHA coordinatorSecurely store and handle patient charts in compliance with legal requirements, including the HIPAA privacy and security regulations if applicable Complete weekly autoclave testing & monthly supply ordersAssist in the administration of the recall system: schedule patients recall appointmentsRequirementsCurrent Georgia Dental Hygienist License Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentationA genuine desire to provide excellent patient care Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and support each otherStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectivelyMeticulous in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean and organized dental operatoryBenefitsMedical/Dental/Vison PTO and Paid HolidaysOpportunities for growthIf you are an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist looking to join a dedicated team in providing exceptional dental care, we'd love to hear from you!
