Manufacturing Validation Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Validation EngineerPay Rate: $47 to $50/HRDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Naperville, IL Our Client is a Global medical device Manufacturer.We are looking for a Manufacturing Validation Engineer to support the development, validation, and improvement of manufacturing processes for implant-related products. This role is heavily focused on sustaining engineering, including troubleshooting process issues, supporting CAPA and non-conformance investigations, and improving existing manufacturing processes. The engineer will be hands-on with process validation, test method validation, protocol execution, and technical report writing. The position will also support sensor characterization, testing, controls, and temperature-related process requirements.Support sustaining engineering activities for existing implant manufacturing processes.Investigate and resolve CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and NCR/non-conformance issues.Support manufacturing teams with hands-on troubleshooting and process improvements.Develop, execute, and document process validation protocols.Prepare detailed process validation reports and technical documentation.Support test method validation, including protocol development, execution, and reporting.Characterize and test sensors, including temperature-related controls and measurements.Analyze manufacturing/process data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams.Support continuous improvement and ensure manufacturing processes remain robust and compliant.Provide technical support for implant manufacturing processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.2–4 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, R&D, quality, or process engineering.Experience with sustaining engineering / sustaining process development.Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing processes.Experience with CAPA and non-conformance/NCR investigations.Experience with process validation, including writing reports and executing protocols.Experience with test method validation.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.Strong technical documentation and communication skills
