The channel produces structured, high-retention videos that combine direct-to-camera delivery with TikTok clips, research assets, and supporting visuals. This role will help maintain a consistent publishing rhythm while improving content quality and viewer engagement.Position OverviewThe YouTube Video Editor will own the editing process for weekly long-form videos, turning raw footage into polished, engaging final content. This role requires strong pacing, clean visual execution, and the ability to integrate supporting assets such as TikTok clips, captions, graphics, and research visuals. The ideal candidate can work independently, follow a structured weekly workflow, and deliver edits that are fast-paced, professional, and optimized for retention.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit one YouTube video per week, typically 15–20 minutes in lengthTurn raw footage into polished long-form content with strong pacing and clean structureRemove pauses, filler words, and dead space to improve retentionAdd relevant visuals, overlays, captions, and text highlights when key points are madeIntegrate TikTok clips and social media examples into episodes where neededEdit reaction-style and commentary-based videos with dynamic pacing and clear visual flowInsert research papers, charts, quotes, and graphics for research-heavy episodesApply audio normalization and color correction for a consistent final productDeliver first drafts on time for review and complete revisions before publishing deadlinesUpload draft and final exports to the designated project folderExport final videos in 1080p MP4 format using H.264 codecAdapt editing style based on the episode format while maintaining overall brand consistencyQualificationsRequired QualificationsStrong experience editing long-form YouTube video contentStrong understanding of pacing, retention-focused editing, and audience engagementExperience integrating clips, overlays, captions, and supporting visuals into video contentExperience editing educational, commentary, reaction, or research-driven contentAbility to work independently and follow a structured weekly production scheduleStrong attention to detail in visual flow, audio quality, and final deliveryAbility to manage drafts, revisions, and final exports on deadlineStrong written and verbal communication skillsFluent in English (C1/C2 level)Preferred QualificationsExperience editing psychology, educational, or human behavior contentExperience integrating TikTok clips or social-first assets into YouTube videosExperience working with research-heavy content, including charts, quotes, and academic referencesExperience editing high-retention, fast-paced educational contentWork Environment & CompensationLocation: Remote (LATAM only)Schedule: (US Time Zone - EST Time-zone)Compensation: $9/hrHours: Part-Time (10 hours/week - Hours are expected to grow over time based on performance and content needs)We look forward to reviewing your application.
